NEW: Boys Basketball Tryouts will be September 8 and 9, from 4:00-5:30, in the CMS gym. Players must have an updated physical and parent consent form to tryout. Those can be picked up outside the gym and turned into the front office. Football players may tryout at a later time. Please contact Coach Hatfield to set that up.

The Back to School Dance is TODAY! Students attending the dance MUST by picked up promptly at 5pm. Pickup will be like car rider pickup with the line entering at the CMS football/baseball fields and ending at the grade-level wings.
Rising 7th grade students - The Tennessee Department of Health requires that ALL students entering 7th grade be immunized for TDAP (Tetanus/diptheria/pertussis booster). If your child has received this immunization, please send in a copy to the CMS front office or email a copy to Nurse Kendra at Kendra.Reed@blountk12.org. If your child has not received this immunization, please contact your child’s physician or the Blount County Health Department to schedule an appointment. Immunization records must be turned in to the front office at CMS by Friday, October 2, 2026.

Registration for the Blount County Education Foundation Trot for Education is NOW OPEN! The Trot for Education offers a 5K and one-mile fun run/walk. Funds raised go directly to provide classroom needs in all Blount County Schools. This year's Trot will be on Saturday, November 14, One-Mile Fun Run at 8:30AM and 5K at 9:00AM at Eagleton College and Career Academy. Custom-designed t-shirts will be reserved for participants who register before November 2, and deep discounts are offered for early registration.
