IMPORTANT: If your student receives Free or Reduced meals and you did not filled out a 2026-2027 application, as of Friday they went to Full Pay. Please check your email. Notification emails were sent out last week, if you do not have an email address in PowerSchool, a letter was sent home with your student. Rising 7th grade students - The Tennessee Department of Health requires that ALL students entering 7th grade be immunized for TDAP (Tetanus/diptheria/pertussis booster). If your child has received this immunization, please send in a copy to the CMS front office or email a copy to Nurse Kendra at Kendra.Reed@blountk12.org. If your child has not received this immunization, please contact your child’s physician or the Blount County Health Department to schedule an appointment. Immunization records must be turned in to the front office at CMS by Friday, October 2, 2026.
Registration for the Blount County Education Foundation Trot for Education is NOW OPEN! The Trot for Education offers a 5K and one-mile fun run/walk. Funds raised go directly to provide classroom needs in all Blount County Schools. This year's Trot will be on Saturday, November 14, One-Mile Fun Run at 8:30AM and 5K at 9:00AM at Eagleton College and Career Academy. Custom-designed t-shirts will be reserved for participants who register before November 2, and deep discounts are offered for early registration.
